This 968 is a one of two in Coppaflorio Blue. Both Feature a Marine Blue leather interior. This one is the manual version.
Porsche considered the 968 as a 944 S3 originally but chose to re-name it due to the car looking so different to the 944 S2.
This example only has 5220 Km on its back and therefore its in pretty good shape. The car features the upgraded sound package as can be seen in the doors. It comes with a 3.0 Litre Inline-4-Cylinder engine which produces 240 bhp, 305 Nm of torque and goes 0-100kph in 6,5 seconds.
The introduction of Variocam gave the 968 a broader torque curve, complementing its already impressive chassis balance and transaxle layout. As a result, the car delivers a uniquely composed driving experience that remains highly regarded among collectors today.
Beyond its technical upgrades, the 968 also marked the end of Porsche’s transaxle era. Its balanced weight distribution, precise steering feel and improved chassis dynamics made it one of the most refined four-cylinder sports cars of its time.
This particular example presents exactly that: an almost time-capsule-like condition combined with one of the rarest colour and interior specifications ever ordered. With its extremely low mileage, immaculate paintwork and unmodified factory configuration, it stands as one of the most desirable 968s on the market today.
